Half-day tour

The tour starts at Hero’s Square, where you can see the most important figures from our history. We visit the City Park with its magnificent Vajdahunyad Castle. We drive along the famous Andrássy Avenue to see its charming neo-renaissance villas as well as the beautiful Opera.

We walk around in the biggest catholic church of Budapest, St Stephen Basilica, where the most important reliquary, the „Wholly Right Hand”, the mummified hand of St Stephen is placed. We pass by the Parliament, Marguerite Bridge, drive along Chain Bridge and head to the Royal Castle District to stroll around and enjoy its unique atmosphere, the Royal Castle, the Fishermen’ s Bastion and to see the breathtaking  Matthias Church and its beautiful frescos.

 

Full-day tour

I meet you at your hotel. The tour starts at Hero’s Square, where you can get acquainted with the most important figures from our history. We visit the City Park with its magnificent Vajdahunyad Castle and Széchenyi Thermal Spa. We drive along the famous Andrássy Avenue to see its charming neo-renaissance villas as well as the beautiful Opera.

We walk around in the biggest catholic church of Budapest, St Stephen Basilica, where the most important reliquary, the „Wholly Right Hand”, the mummified hand of St Stephen is placed.

We walk around the Parliament and Liberty Square where some of the hidden architectural treasures of Budapest are situated. We take a lunch break in one of the local restaurants and then continue to discover the Royal Castle District. We visit the Royal Castle, Matthias Church, Fishermen’s Bastion and stroll along the charming, little streets of the hill.

We continue our trip to enjoy the best panorama from the top of Gellért Hill; we pass by Citadella, the unique Pauline Cave Chapel and the famous art-nouveau Gellért Spa.

Afterwards, we visit the Great Synagogue, which is the biggest synagogue in Europe and finish the tour in the Great Covered Market Hall, where you can taste the delicious Hungarian home-made strudel, as a reward for the tour.

 

Danube Bend Tour

In this full-day tour you can see one of the most picturesque regions of the country.

The tour starts in Esztergom, the cradle of Hungarian statehood, which was the capital of the country for centuries. We are visiting the Basilica, the biggest Catholic Church featuring Bakócz Chapel, the most important Hungarian renaissance monument, the most astonishing ecclesiastic museum in the country and the crypt where Cardinal József Mindszenthy is buried.

We also visit Visegrád, one of the most beautiful holiday resorts, which was once the hunting reserve of the kings. We go up to the fortress to take in the breathtaking panorama of the Danube Bend.

After lunch we finish the tour in Szentendre, which was already inhabited by the Romans, but it developed into a beautiful baroque village with Mediterranean atmosphere in the 18th century, due to the settlement of Serbian, Macedon and Greek merchants. The beauty of the village has always attracted artists so it is also home to many art galleries and artisan shops.

 

Jewish Heritage Tour

On this 4-hour walking tour you will learn about the history of the Jews in Hungary and we will visit the most beautiful monuments of the Jewish quarter in Budapest. You will see three synagogues: the center of the orthodox Jewish community, Kazinczy Street Synagogue, Rumbach Sebestyén Street Synagogue, Dohány Street Synagogue, the biggest synagogue in Europe, the Jewish Museum, the Holocaust Cemetery, the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Park and the Tree of Life.

During the tour in the former ghetto area we are passing by the Carl Lutz Memorial, walk along Király Street and we'll also see the Gozsdu Court.
